Ontotext & Partners - Virtual Knowledge Graph Forum 2021

Event Details

Join us on Wednesday 27 October 2021 at 5.30 PM & 6 PM (BST) at the first Virtual Ontotext Knowledge Graph Forum

Get ready for keynotes, industry panels, product breakouts, and practitioner-led sessions.

The Knowledge Graph Forum is a free virtual real-time event over two half days, running in two parallel tracks - Business Applications and Tools & Platforms.

This event is shaped by the vision that knowledge graphs serve as a hub for data, metadata, and content. Graphs let enterprises smarten up their proprietary information by linking it to global knowledge. In this way, enterprises remain competitive in dynamic environments.
Some of the most advanced adopters of the technology will share their experience and use cases across Life Sciences, Financial Services, Publishing, Government organizations, and Industry.

You will get two half days to:

  1. Connect with fellow professionals and entrepreneurs

  2. Learn from experts during two main tracks: Business Applications and Tools & Platforms

  3. Get an overview of the market and technology trends from industry leaders

  4. Meet and connect with our partners' network

Jacobus Geluk, CEO of agnos.ai, will be doing a presentation on Enterprise Knowledge Graph (EKG) for Mission-Critical Run-the-Bank Use Cases.

The focus of the presentation will be on the extremely high level of reuse, enabled by EKG - reusable code, data, and knowledge. Details will be provided on how a common key use case like Legal Entity Management would be developed for the EKG.

Following Jacobus will be Pete Rivett - Chief Knowledge Officer at agnos.ai, discussing the practicalities of Ontology Development and Mapping - the Legal Entity / LEI Dataset provided by GLEIF.

Pete’s presentation will take you through a case study on taking a specific large XML dataset and developing a focused ontology, and data transformations, for a set of knowledge graph/linked data use cases.

Event Details

Join us on Wednesday 21 April at 9:00am PST 5:00pm GMT at Enterprise Data World (EDW

Enterprise Knowledge Graph in Action at LGT Private Banking

Enterprise Knowledge Graph (EKG) is a term that is becoming more mainstream over the last few years; it is among many other competing technologies appearing to help deal with data management and analytics complexities.

During this session, Rea and Jacobus will present their journey towards establishing an Enterprise Knowledge Graph (EKG) within LGT. The presentation will cover how LGT achieved production-level maturity, the lessons learned, and the way in which an EKG fits into business and technical strategies pragmatically, delivering a generational step forward. There are currently just a handful of EKG's running in production in the financial industry, most of which cannot be talked about in public, so it is special opportunity to hear this case study of an Enterprise Knowledge Graph running in production.
